Accuride 28160 Wheels (again)

Yes, I know this has been talked about before but I'm in the market for six 28160's if anybody has a set, trying to get modern rubber on my 1970 GMC. Was going to keep it original but the Firestone 2 pc wheels have got to go. Was thinking of the replacement WN28160J from WheelsNow but not sure I like the look, maybe I'll have to settle for them?

Would those have come on a 68 c30 with the factory heavy duty 10-lug drivetrain? And what’s the diameter?

I know of a truck set up like this I was thinking about buying and the owner might have an extra set of the same wheels too. If they are what you are looking for let me know. The above link is an example of what it has.

My OEM rims are 20" diameter, what did you find on the C30?

Haven’t seen them in person, the guy said they were 18” but I assume either 17.5” or 19.5”.

Bumping this back up, anyone have any leads on a set of the original style 28160? Can't stand the way the Wheelsnow reproductions look.

Re: Accuride 28160 Wheels (again)

I'm starting to think swapping out the axles from a newer truck is gonna be easier than finding a set of these.

Ok, lets ask that question.

Can we change the hubs / drums in the rear and spindles / drums in the front?

Re: Accuride 28160 Wheels (again)

Same situation only mine are on a 68 C40. Did you find a solution? Did you get a price for the wheels now wheels?

You might be right on the axle swap.

Thanks for any help.
