Whats the cluster worth.......?

I have the basic dummy light cluster in my 65 i have a chance to get a gauge style cluster for 40 bucks is it worth it...?
If my speedo would work i would just keep mine but i put a new cable in the truck and it still wont work plus i cant even see a needle in the speedo...

Re: Whats the cluster worth.......?

if it is a working cluster then 40 is cool.
On my 60 the cluster was non-op. I built my own with some after market gauges.
$50.00 for an autmeeter speedo of off e bay
$40.00 for a sunpro tripple gauge set from pep boys
$30.00 for an automeeter 0-30 ohm gasu gauge from sunmmit
$10.00 for three indicator lights from Csk
So 40 aint so bad

Re: Whats the cluster worth.......?

I have a nice 64-66 cluster with gauges I bought at a swap meet a few years ago. Think I paid $50. The speedometer and gauges all worked fine when I installed the cluster into my 64.

Re: Whats the cluster worth.......?

I had a '60-'63 cluster for sale for what seemed like forever for $40 without a single bite. Just for reference.

Re: Whats the cluster worth.......?

I've seen them on Ebay for anywhere from $30-$50, sometimes more, just depends on the seller.

I bought mine for 40 off the forum and worked good so I think that is the going price range.
