Chevy Emblem

So we have had the truck for one week and sitting here tonight with my 15 year old son, he looks at me and says," why is the Chevy Bow Tie on the grill BLUE when that is a Ford color. Makes me proud! He's learning.

The answer should be: That bow tie looks the same in the rear view mirror of a ford as it does when you look at it. The blue just twists their tail a little!

Re: Chevy Emblem

It shows he has interest...good. The answer is blue isn't a Ford color, the blue oval is a Ford thing, though. Although, when I typed blue oval to google the first year it was used, blue oval pill was the top suggestion and this is what I found:
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...,d.cWc&cad=rja...Xanax 1mg

https://www.google.com/search?q=blue...w=1024&bih=585

1928 was the first year a Ford vehicle wore the blue oval. 1914 was the first year a Chevrolet vehicle wore the blue bowtie.

Re: Chevy Emblem

I'm definitely fan of the gold emblem badge (not on our classics of course), or the billet or silver colored ones. I really have a preference against the red bowties for some reason.
