I ran into a guy with a 2-dr Yukon yesterday, and looked at his seats, it was a 97 GMC. Couple observations:

1. Seat belts are not built into the seat, shoulder harness on the cab pillar. Last year for the 2-dr was 99, so I assume that they didn't either.

2. Seats slide forward, not flip. Has a two-step slide, one "normal" and one for rear access, which slides much further.

I have a 00 Silverado, so love the seats in it.
Thx.

Sorry to bring this back up but the seats I got ( for nothing) aren't going to work so I am back to the drawing board.

LT1 are your seats "special"? Roy has 2000 seats that don't fold forward and I have a 2004 ext cab and mine don't seem to fold forward either. Are yours captain seats or something? I notice that there are different styles of buckets as I am poking around the web.

Thanks in advance.
