67 Color schemes

I have looked around online but have come up empty handed.

What were the options for the Body paint schemes on the 67 C10 trucks.
Were different trim levels painted differently.

I know the truck I own is a pretty basic truck and it is solid Yellow (522 I believe) with the white front bumper and grill/headlight surround

I have seen trucks with chrome grill surround and white backer. some with white roof and rest of the truck is solid color.
or white color white..... the combinations I have seen are endless. Is there someplace I can find a what the factory body color combos were for 1967.

Re: 67 Color schemes

By the way here are a couple of shots of my truck when I got it home in February, The LWB C10 made the trip on the same trailer as Dinos dully..... story goes from the driver. All the way from Kalispell Mt. to Detroit Mi where I picked it up an brought it home to Canada.

I am guessing chrome bumpers had chrome grille trim
here is a link for 71 schemes

Re: 67 Color schemes

I'd agree. The 522 Light Yellow with 526 Ivory/Off-White trim is timeless. That correct green interior is very period.
While you can add chrome or even two-tone, I'd say most of what you are thinking of are later schemes and combinations like the hood trim and eyebrow moldings.

Re: 67 Color schemes

Hey guys thanks for the replys. I agree with you that the truck is great as is. The yellow on green is the reason I bought the truck. There were other trucks out there that were less money and I didn't have to ship them across the country to get them home.
Does anyone know the color of the interior and its code. Is it Aqua, green or blue? It should be a simple question I know but all those online color cards are a little hard to determine what it actually was.

Unfortunately there was a lot more rust in the cab than I was hoping to find so their is some major metal work going on. The intent is to redo the interior to new and the body will be feauxtina'd to look like it did when it arrived.
I am just curious to know what the options actually were.

Re: 67 Color schemes

Solid color or two-tone with top in accent color. That's it. In '67-only the accent color on top stays above the drip rail. Any level trim would come with solid paint and any level could get the two-tone option.

i really like that aqua greenish interior!! You even have the hard to find 67 window crank knobs and the lighter!! looks like you need the 67 knobs though. those`ll be easy to find. is there any way we could talk you into any more interior pics? like of the seat ?

Hey thanks, I love the color combo as it is. not sure I now what you are saying about the 67 Knobs.

http://www.oldchevytrucks.com/blog/i...ticles/page/3/

according to the article above the knobs I have are 67 standard knobs.

If I can scratch up some other interior shots from b4 I took her apart I will post what I find. Again there was some serious rust issues that I needed to take care of. Right now the cab is completely apart and missing a floor, rockers and most of the outer cowl. I hope to have most of that remedied this weekend. I am taking the day off tomorrow to plug away at it and hopefully get to the stage where the floor can go back in.
The seat is toast on the driver side

Re: 67 Color schemes

i noticed the knobs on the dash have no ridges like a quarter from what i can see on the pic. it looks like the cig lighter is 67 correct though (smaller in diameter and does have ridges like a quarter)
very minor detail,
you know looking closer i think i do see the ridges on the headlight switch.... sorry about that. again... great truck and good find! especially on that interior color!

I am not looking at the knobs right now as they are locked up in storage right now but I am sure that the knobs are original to the truck and do have the ridges like you described.

Re: 67 Color schemes

I have the same color truck and interior. Mines all original as well.

I love the color. You dont see it very often.

It stands out without being obnoxious as well. I'd keep the color. You rarely see light yellow trucks compared to the orange, blue, green and so forth.

Oh I am defiantly keeping the yellow on Aqua. That is a no brainer that is the who,e reason I picked this truck. I was just curious to know what the two tone options were for the trucks in case I decided to add a little more to the look but I am not sure I will.

Mine is solid yellow and its a 68'

Not sure what a two tone would look like. Probably look pretty sharp either way!

I just ran outside and took these. Its kinda in the shade. Its the original paint and the trucks a little dirty but you get the idea.

I was going to repaint but its only original once and it shines up pretty nice so I'm keeping it as is for now.
