Rear Panel Upper cab moldings - What's the difference between the two moldings?
71 Chevy 1/2 ton.
Talking to one of "our" more knowledgeable posters, we're both a bit stumped on what the differences are between the two rear cab moldings "paint separators", being they're two different GM part numbers. The only difference I see is the RH reaches about 1/4" closer to the front. At first I thought that's just how they ended up, but now I'm not sure why that would be, considering the bend should be the same on both sides of the cab. Other than that, I don't see a difference between them. Seems one would work for either side. Anyway, that's a question. Thank you.

The top of the trim is more of a rounded 90 degree angle the bottom of the trim has a slightly beveled angle to it sloping towards the cab as it goes down rather than straight in like the top. It's a subtle difference.
