Long bed cut down to short bed

Not ANY kind of a dish on cutting a long bed down .

I have owned my 72 since 78...its a longbed and I never had the desire to cut it down.

Love the short beds.

Having said this.....the last long bed was built in 1972...and those numbers are shrinking....but the have been hundreds of short beds built since then by cutting down longbeds.

But I wonder how many short beds have been converted to long beds.

Just some rainy day thoughts is all.
