Newbie from CA with 1986 C10

Purchased this C10 a few months ago as a father/son project for my 15 year old son. It's been going well so far, but have a ways to go before it becomes reliable enough to make it a daily driver. I have till July of next year, so we have plenty of time. This is how it looked when we purchased it. It has an approximate 3/4 drop with coil springs and shackles. It did not ride very smooth. Re: Newbie from CA with 1986 C10

We installed a new grille, painted the headlight bezels and re-routed the exhaust. A buddy had a set of Michelins that we mounted on the front to get us by till we install new rims and tires. I'm thinking 20x8s with 245/40/20s and 20x9.5s with 275/45/20s. My son picked up a part time job, so we'll see how long it takes him to save up enough $$$ to purchase some rims and tires...

Thanks! I'm not sure. I"m going to let my son pick the rims, as long as I approve them
