Can't blame you for that. The sky around here looks like the '60s for all the smoke. Tailpipes or trees, the smoke is just as nasty. We had a small fire start at the east end of town, but all the air support around here knocked it down at about 20 acres. It could have been far worse. In '03 the fire burned all down one side of the valley, jumped the freeway and came back along the other side. You couldn't see across the street for the smoke and ash. Too bad you got such a hot welcome to California. Maybe next time!.

Sorry I didn't get back to you on this one Steve. The fires changed a lot of things, and not just for me. Thanks for the invite. I have relatives out there so I'll try to holler next time.
