Here is my truck. 4inch springs and 2inch body lift. Anybody tried to run 38s with this combo? Those are 33s on it now that I had prior to the lift.

I don't know if 38's would work or not but my guess would be no. I would guess 36's if you didn't go with too wide of a tire. Rim width and offset will also determine what fits. I'm running 35's on 14" wide rims and I can get my tires to rub under very hard turns coming out of my driveway. I'm running an 8" suspension lift.

but you'll never get 38's on it and drive it. I have 4" + and I rub with 35's.

Fine, Pont and Mudder don't want to cut up their trucks cause they're purdy, but 6869704X4, you have no excuse not to cut your fenders. If you hack enough, you'll be able to run 38s with the amount of lift you have now.

Fender, that looks like some fairly clean/straight sheetmetal to me.
You need to find a shop that will mount tires and trial fit them. Maybe 38/12.5-15 super swampers on 8" wide rims. But if you want a wide stance go with 35s on 10" wide rims. You could always "upgrade" to 6" suspension and 3" body lift.

Fender! You saying my truck aint purdy? Thats it, we gonna hafta chain bumpers together and settle this.
Actually the front of the bed wheel well is already trimed. Hard to see in the pic. I ordered a set of SS/TSLs 36/12.50/15. Rims are GM and 8ins I think(hope). Tires go on Fri.

You can get just about any tire to fit with enough trimming. Your truck looks way too straight to cut it up though. I have 35's with a 6" lift with out rubbing problems. Keep in mind that not all tires of the same size are the same height. You might check around at the tires shops and compair different brands tires.

I think they are 8inch rims. The tires are 36x12.5 SS/TSLs. Rides so much better than those old tires. I had to take the bed off to hook up the rear tank and take care of some minor clearance issues(can you spell BFH? hehe).

Its a Tuff country EZ-ride 4in lift. If your looking for flex I wouldnt get this one. It doesent flex as much as Id like. That left rear tire is about to leave the ground. My new FOUR WHEELER mag has a burb buildup article, 2nd in a series, about a lift. Dont remember the name of the kit but it flexes a lot better than mine.
I was pondering about removing a leaf from mine and seeing what that does.
Thanks for the compliments on the sheetmetal being straight. Just dont get to close. Bondo-glass is a wonderful thing aint it.
You can just about tell how far into the beer fridge I was on different parts of the truck.

ive heard after a day of hard wheelin they are alot softer
