2wd chevy blazer

Ok, I just put my 6.2 in and the ls engine mounts up perfect

The tranny doesn't look correct.

Do I need to change the yoke and the housing behind it ?

The rear end is from a 96 impala ss

Do I need the impala ss Drive shaft

Thank you
From Mr. Frustrated lol

Re: 2wd chevy blazer

Looks from the pics you first need to install your trailing arms and get a measurement from trans to yoke on the rear end than custom make the driveshaft. How ya get this far into the build without noticing the driveshaft requirement.

Re: 2wd chevy blazer

you didnt show the rear end... but as far as the trans you can either go through the pain of a rear housing/shaft change... or just buy a custom drive shaft thats made for that connection...

http://www.driveshaftshop.com/domest...ece-driveshaft

This shaft is pricey... but contact him with what you have and what you are planning to do it with it and he will set you up with something realistic...

oh and your going to need a different crossmember that sits under the trans instead of behind... can you flip that one around?

Re: 2wd chevy blazer

this is out of my c10 with 6L90 PB frame brace/cross member/trailing arm mount... but you get the idea... there is a ton of space in there to fit any driveshaft style... the bottom is all one level... no drop like on your
