Re: Any safecrackers out there ??
hey, dick may have a good idea, put it on ebay, but with a twist. auction off a percentage of whatever is in the safe to raise the money to get it opened. IE put on the auction that you do not know what is in the safe but that you will auction off 25% or 50% of whatever is in there, like a mystery box auction. that way you may come up with the full amount to get the safe open, even if its $25 or $250 towards getting it open, its less $ out of your pocket, so someone may get nothing if nothing is in there, or get a percentage of whatever is in there, its thier gamble. but look at all the odd auctions that go on to ebay and make money. it just may work

Oh. I thought this thread was going to be about white guys and their safety practices. (ex. driving the speed limit, always wearing your safety belt, don't drink and drive, etc.)

I've been getting some good info on tracking down the combo, but it always ends up going back to a "referral" in my area, which happens to be the $250 buck guy. Actually he said for $40 bucks he will get me the original combo, which according to the manufactuer's website looks like it just may be a email thing but you have to be a locksmith to get a response to your email..Seems high to me ..$40 bucks to send a email?? If anyone wants me to send a email on their behalf to anyone I am having a half price sale ..Twenty Bucks! What a deal! As far as putting the pic's of the serial # etc. online..if someone wants to break into it, that's OK with me just leave the combo on your way out, you'll save me $40 bucks.

Re: Any safecrackers out there ??
I probably will.. it just seem like a lot for nothing, and I dont even know it'll work.
Money is thin now (what else is new) and I got nothing worth putting in a safe except kids pictures...Wildfires came awful close a couple years back, so it would be nice just to save them.

Re: Any safecrackers out there ??
I have an idea. Take it to an airline freight facility. Pose as a customer and ask for a shipping rate to a phoney address. When they ask what the contents are tell them that they are unknown. Guess what? They'll take it to their X-ray machine to inspect it. Botta-boom-botta-bang.....Kapish?
