Seatbelts

1995 K20 cab & a half

The previous owner cut the front seat center lap belt out. I found a similar seat belt out of a newer S10. The metal portion of the 1995 seatbelt hole is a square. The metal portion of the S10 seat belt is square outline with a piece of metal still in the middle of the square

The seat belts click and seem to work, I want to be sure these will work prior to installing. Any comments .
