Is there any way to get wires through the A-pillar?

I'm doing a custom rewire, and want to avoid running wires across the floor, but the dome light is still needing power and ground.

My fall-back method will be to run the wires across the tranny hump, sleeved through a piece of metal oil line for protection.

I'd like to get those wires up the inside of the A-pillar, but I'm assuming that's impossible. Can anyone give me a definite yes or no?

long fairly stiff length of wire like tig welding rod .

there is a spot under the dash were its open in the a-pillar .

if you have 5-lights on the roof this is were the wire goes . so yes it can be done . also try puling the sun visor and maybe going down threw that hole and let gravity help . then its just back across the top is all .

i just had my silverado apart and inside and the wires for the dome/speaker/cargo light all went along the carpet to door sill area and then up the b-pillar .

Thanks for the info. I'll look into it. Fencing wire should work for threading through.

I don't plan to install carpet and door sills at this point. Maybe at some point in the future, but for now, bare metal is fine.

Re: Is there any way to get wires through the A-pillar?

I rethreaded the wire for the clearance lights in mine with string and a vacuum cleaner...
tied a heavy knot on the end of the string
dropped the string in from the top
stuck vacuum nozzle up to hole under dash
sucked it right on thru
