Double D

Well, I bought another truck today. Not much to it. 1971 long fleet, 350 3spd., manual steering and brakes. It needs quite a bit of work. The plan is to get it fixed up well enough to be a parts runner while I'm working on the other 71 and then I'll tackle this one. Stay tuned!

Re: Double D

It always good to have a parts runner. That's where long fleets earn their keep.

You forgot to mention that they are ALWAYS better than shortfleets. Shortfleets are just ugly and useless. IMO

Re: Double D

Got a few. Got it running(removed the bad q-jet and replaced a cracked head). Cleaned up some wiring, replaced the leaky radiator, welded on some mufflers, cleaned all of the junk out of the inside and the bed, installed the grille. I think that's about it. I took a crappy little video with the camera, I'll try to post it tomorrow along with the pics I took today.
