Re: Project Physcobilly <shortbed build>

The spokes went to this guy off CL and the cowl hood is hanging up in my room. I have a 81' 3/4 ton rust bucket im thinking of putting all my old parts on so I can have a winter driver.

Re: Project Physcobilly <shortbed build>

I forsure have three inch drop spindles, but my springs I don't know about. I bought them used the guy just told me they were lowering springs I didn't get any specs. I should be pulling them soon and I can measure the height for you while they are out if that helps?

This is a picture of the cross member and how far it sat off the ground before the springs settled in the pockets.

Was that grille already pulled and sitting somewhere? If so, I pulled it then decided against it lol

No, I was going to go this weekend. Instead I cruised down to the swap meet in Columbia instead and that ate up 5 hours of my day in driving.

Nothing was done with the radiator support mounts.

Yes progress is being made! I need to shoot the bed and passengerside door with primer wet sand then I will be ready for paint.
I also wasted a bunch of money on junk air ride componates. Not sure how I will wire up the MAC valves (that is if they work) The prior owner used barbed air hose fittings to plumb his lines for his air ride and thats just so ghetto not to mention dangerous. Some people......
