Finally got my Fawn with grey and black houndstooth seat cover

Took a month for me to get the right one(Truck World accidentally sent me a black with grey and black inserts). What do you think?

Have to see up close to see the gold tone and not just grey. Here's a close up shot.

Unfortunately it's no longer mine. It's going to a GM dealership in Tacoma, WA.

Re: Finally got my Fawn with grey and black houndstooth seat cover

Love the fawn interiors in 67 (and earlier) trucks. Also love the carol cloth houndstooth. Great idea to combine em - so glad you kept the fawn interior scheme. Perfect!

Almost used the black with grey and black houndstooth I got in error. Still waiting for the return label from Southwest Classics.

The manufacturer is Truck World. There are a few supporting vendors here to choose from. Southwest Classics in Texas, Truck Seats in Washington and Laidback Creations in Oklahoma. There is another in Arizona too I think.

Re: Finally got my Fawn with grey and black houndstooth seat cover

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE WHEN ORDERING!! These houndstooth bench seat covers were originally only made for the 71-72 seats. Make sure whichever vendor you go with, you inform them what year your seat is. The earlier seats are slightly wider than the later 71-72 seats but most importantly tell them if your old cover was held on by hog rings or clips. My 67 seat has clips so the front panel of the vertical portion of the seat cover had to be made 4" or so longer so the clips can be used.

Also if you have an earlier seat you will have build up the thickness of your seat esp. the bottom cushion.

Re: Finally got my Fawn with grey and black houndstooth seat cover

Wow that looks good! I asked the question about this combo last year and didn't get much of a response. My 67 originally came with Fawn interior and I'm hellbent on houndstooth for my buddies. And just when I decided to go with a red interior.

Re: Finally got my Fawn with grey and black houndstooth seat cover

that looks really good. it's good to know the fawn outer color matches the original vinyl parts so well. might have to do something like this with my buddy buckets.

perfect choice - love the fawn interiors, and that houndstooth looks right at home in there.
