Re: I lost my coffee...

Most of my mugs (I have maybe 4, but there are close to 100 around here My wife has mugs for every occasion) are dark inside so you can't see the stains, anyway.

Both of my younger brothers collect HotWheels. One has over 3500, the other had over 5000. He sold most during his brush with cancer, though.

Re: I lost my coffee...

That mug is no more... broke it. But that stain washes right off, if you wash it! Of course I wash my mugs. I wash them once every month or so whether they need it or not. I rinse them after every use.

Funny. I'm reading your post, Steveedee, and thinking "What brings Hot Wheels into this conversation about coffee" (and evening beverages... I mean all night). Then, "Oh yeah, there were three in my picture. Duh? That picture was the first in a series on repainting them in stock-like colors. So to further hijack... (as if anyone is interested)

Re: I lost my coffee...

Thanks. Not all detailed like a model. I just do them "toy-like" still and the realism is in the colors. Well, and I like to paint the bed body color and the interior it's own color.

We can go back to losing our coffee any time if someone has more to add. Meanwhile, here are some '62s I did the same with

Re: I lost my coffee...

Coffee in the morning. It's a routine, right? I mean it's like THE original routine if ever there was one. So my son is starting to drink coffee. I've always made two cups for me. Make my oatmeal while the coffee is brewing and have it with my first cup. Sometimes I come downstairs for my second cup and he took it. He's welcome to it but it sure would be nice to know he wanted a cup when I was making it. He doesn't always want some and it seems when I go ahead and fix him one with mine he doesn't take it. If I know he's up I ask and usually it's a no. I have become a very tolerant guy, I tell you. I use this to teach me to handle anything that comes my way! I just make another cup when he takes it and sometimes get an extra cup. If he only knew ............

Re: I lost my coffee...

Went into the office at work yesterday and the coffee pot was empty . Decided to make a deal of it . Exclaimed out loud , OH MY THE POT IS EMPTY ... HOWEVER WILL I MAINTAIN CONTROL AND FINISH THE DAY !! .. Walked out of the door with a sad face looking at my shoes as I went back to the shop .

Late in the day so went back to work to finish a couple of small things . About 5 minutes later one of the ladies brought out a hot cup . Bus boss has a kuerig in her office , sent it to me .... I am Spoiled
