2004 5.3 V8 Silverado Serpentine Belt Diagram?

I know there is a diagram for the routing for the belt on the 5.3 V8 here somewhere. The routing decal is long gone from my truck, so want to make sure I get it on the right way. Any quick links to the belt diagrams? Looked in the owner's manual and not there. Thanks, LBJ

SweetK30, that was fast! Yep, that looks like my setup. Including the A/C belt. Thanks, Lane

One more question, hate to be so ignorant. But, what is the upper pulley on the far left of the photo? Is that just for the belt to change direction and pivot on? Lane

That's the tensioner...see the hex?..that's where you put a wrench to release the tension when your putting the belt on.....

Greg, I thought that the pulley in the middle was the tensioner! ha. Is the pulley in the middle just an idler pulley? thanks, Lane

Check the idler and tensioner for wear and bearing noise before you stick the belt on...would be a good time to replace both if needed...

Greg, yes, I'll check them out. A/C has one as well. If needed, I'll order these thru Rock Auto as their prices are a lot sweeter than Auto Zone. Lane

Re: 2004 5.3 V8 Silverado Serpentine Belt Diagram?

All belts installed, but they had the last laugh. The fan shroud kinda ate on me a bit. The A/C belt was WAY harder than the Serpentine belt! At 93K miles, won't have to change those again for aLONG LONG TIME, if ever. Anyway, got them on and tested. Thanks SweetK30 and Greg for the help. Lane

I know, I'm whining like a little girl! Ha
