700R4 broken gears?

So I pulled out my speedometer driven gear to change it and these two pieces of a plastic gear fell out. Anyone know where they are from? It’s not the speedometer drive gear, it’s red and looks to be intact. Any info is appreciated.

Not an auto transmission guy, but my guess would be from the governor.

From a quick Google search, you will need to fix it. It doesn't look all that difficult to fix. http://www.streetrodlife.com/tech/pi...-shift-points/

Re: 700R4 broken gears?

The rest of it must still be intact because it still drives fine but I am definitely going to replace it now so I don’t get stranded.
