Rough Idle

Hey everyone, I have a problem and need some help.

I have a 350, rebuilt 30 over, with a RV cam, Edel. 1406 carb, new vacuum can. Heads were done also. Oh, and I have headers and an Ignitor.

I can't get it to even out at idle. Will it ever smooth out with the RV cam? What degree BTC should I aim for before messing with other stuff. I have cured the vacuum leaks and all the plugs are firing (plugs look they way they should). Any suggestions? Thanks everyone.

Ro

Did you get the intake on smoothly without damaging the seal front and back? Vacuum leaks can make it hard to get a smooth idle.

Here is my cam info:

Comp Cam Part # 12-207-2

Gross Valve Lift In: .42 Ex: .451

Duration @ .050: In: 203 Ex: 212
Lobe Lift In: .281 Ex: .301

I know how a cam works but I don't know how to read the specs. Anyway, here it is.
