Just introducing myself. Name is Ryan, I'm 34. Lived in northern IL my whole life.

I've owned a bunch of squarebody chevys. If you are on CK5 forum, I'm muddermilitia over there

1979 2wd K5
1977 C30 crewcab dually
1989 k5
1988 k5
1988 R30 crewcab srw
1986 M1009
Are all vehicles I formerly owned.

I currently own a 1952 Dodge Coronet, built as a mild custom.
I also own a 1959 Chevy Apache, which is what brings me to this site. The 1989 K5 I had was an extreme trail rig. 1 tons, dual cases, 42" tires, exo cage. I sold/parted that out and started my 59 chevy project with the funds.

Currently the 59 consists of: 87 C10 long bed chassis. 56 chevy cab, 58 chevy front fenders, 59 chevy hood, NOS grill, NOS fleetside long bed sides and tail gate. Engine is a 2005 5.3L from a Tahoe. Trans is a 4l80e from a 2003 Express van. Rear axle is a custom made 9" from Strange engineering. Chassis is lowered 4.5" in front and 5" in back.

Here's a pic of it. I will start a full build thread for it in the proper section of the forum. Happy to be here. I can see there's lots of good info.
