Anyone with experience changing a clutch -- 92-95 nv4500?
I'm accumulating the parts and pieces to install a nv4500 with the 92-95 style bellhousing. This has the external slave cylinder, and the internal fork.
The slave cylinder I have in hand has an internal spring, which effectively pushes the throwout bearing into the pressure plate. The spring is relatively weak, but it's enough to hold pressure on that throwout bearing. Am I missing something here? Is there supposed to be another spring to hold the fork/throwout out of the clutch fingers?
