Front shock bracket for 61 with 72 x member

I’m looking for ideas on how to put shocks in the front of my 61 apache with a 72 x member,the existing brackets don’t line up and are different widths,it has 2 inch lowering springs and 2 inch lowering spindles,with 350/350 trans(not sure if this matters)also what shocks are you guys using,(front and back)any help or pictures is allways appreciated !

So I would determine what style shock you are wanting to go with.
(looks ,Performance or comfortable ride.)

Start with trying the find a shock that (Will fit) your existing lower mount.
Then find a top mount that will work with your mounting options on the frame.
Then try to find the correct travel length.
Main 3 things is diameter of mounting bolts, width of shock mounting bushing and length of travel.

Here is Porterbuilt on 62. Pin top shocks. Some angle bar, a flat and welding
