Photos from the 2023 Vintiques NW Nationals

Jean and I went up to the Vintiques North West Nationals in Yakima saturday and while I didn't take as many photos as I usually do I did get some interesting ones.

First is the Red AD that was built by Moxee Muscle cars. The majority of the builds out of that shop are built and sold rather than customer builds. High dollar builds that often are taken to Barrett-Jackson and run across the block.

The workmanship on the truck is top level.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

A local shop that I didn't know much about built the 56 TF chassis that is a beast of a chassis. Looking at their website they have worked on a number of local cars.

Mooneyes was there selling shirts, decals and lots of nifty shiny stuff.

Blue GMC cruising though when I was sitting and resting my knees. It packs a later stepside bed and fenders.

The little black truck is a regular at the show and can usually be found in that spot that it was in.

The 36 with the rather hammered fenders has been around for a while

One more of the 36 chevy trucks.

The Blue AD is a long time show regular, Pretty well an original truck.

The Mooneyes truck hanging out in the show.

The Orange 53 has been at the show for at least the past 25 years and I see that my spot over on the left has been taken over for a while.

Re: Photos from the 2023 Vintiques NW Nationals

A few more.
A truck that I showed from Thursday night and a seafoam green one hiding out in the middle.

The orange truck must have run out to pick someone up in the parking lot or in the store. Pretty common at the show if your people had to park the daily out in the parking lot, I had park about a quarter mile from the walkin entrance Saturday. The truck still looks great for all the years it has been on the road.

Link to my smugmug album for the show. https://robertdavison.smugmug.com/20...st-Nationals-/

He's one of the local Saturday morning Cars and Coffee guys. He got a lot of cars and trucks that I missed.

Re: Photos from the 2023 Vintiques NW Nationals

It's on Oct 7 this year. https://www.goldendalemotorsports.or...e-Maryhill.php

For those not in the know, This event takes place on the grounds of the Maryhill Museum. The event is pretty laid back and the hill climb cars that will be running in the Maryhill hill climb the next day make their run from the hill climb pits to the museum and that brings some interesting cars.

Re: Photos from the 2023 Vintiques NW Nationals

Lowblow actually has Buick front and rear bumpers.

Art is a long time hot rodder who owns a hot rod wiring shop in Yakima now but lived in worked in the Seattle area for a number of years. Pretty well a life time Vintiques member . I first met him in 1979 when he dumped a pitcher of ice water on my wife during a wet T shirt contest.

I don't know a lot about the truck except it runs and goes and he drives it a lot. I've got photos of it from other events in Yakima over the past five or so years that are in albums on my Smugmug account. About a dozen in this album but some may be versions of the same photo of the engine. https://robertdavison.smugmug.com/20...-Union-Gap-wa/

Probably not the first but they are 55 Buick I used to have one that I got stupid and pulled the front bumper off because I wanted it to look like a Gasser in 1966,
