Photo needed: 1956 235 throttle linkage

Just looking for a picture of the throttle linkage on a stock 235. I already did a google images search and didn't find anything definitive. I installed mine just as the assembly manual shows but the bell crank just doesn't look right and the throttle return spring rubbed on the exhaust pipe when I did a quick mock up. I would like a picture just to confirm I have mine installed correctly. I may move the return spring tab toward the rear one bolt hole yet just so the spring is more parallel to the linkage. The linkage is connected to the carburetor too, Rochester 'B'.

All I can remember is that there is one way that it works and a couple of ways it doesn't work.

The diagram looks to show the spring connected more towards the rearmost of those 2 cast block ribs where it looks like you are connected near the front one. That may help with the exhaust interference.
