68 C30 to 85 c30 suspension

Alright guys I'm working on my 68 c30 I got a donor 85 c30 for all front suspension. My true my question is are the c10 and c30 control arms different in 85? Cause if I can run c10 arms I will order some tubulars! Thanks for any info in advance.

Yes, they're different.

1985 C10 arms use press-fit rubber bushings. 1985 C30's utilize the HD rubber/steel sleeve screw on style bushings.
BJ's for C30 lower arms are HD & a larger OD.
Upper control arm shafts are different because C10's use 1/2" mounting studs & C20's/30's use 9/16".

You'll have to know/research what the aftermarket arms you're looking @ offer.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

I think you can put the 85 spindles on the 68 control arms if you do not want to change out everything.
That is what I am going to do with my 71 because the 71 rotors are NLA

Thanks for the info you answered my question cause I was gonna see if I could just buy c10 aontrol arms. But nope I'll just buy some stock 30s and dehump them. I have Western chassis lowering spindles for an 85 as well.

Most likely options were a 327 or straight-6.
