Yuck. I'm going to have to do this too if I want ralleye wheels. As far as I know you can't have 'em with 8 lugs on your axles/hubs!

Hotrod-
I'm in the process right now! Have my new donor rear in the garage re-building all the brakes and peice parts. The front clip is still sitting on the trailer!.

A word of caution I learned the hard way. You will need a new panhard bar and mounts if you switch the rear ends. I just got an adjustable bar from Early Classic, but still searching for the 1/2 ton frame mount. The 3/4 to is different. Happy swapping!

Blue 71-

I will be taking out my Eaton 8-lug rear, and will eventually be swapping out my front clip. I have all the parts , just working on it when I can. I am in Ohio, about 2 hours from the Kentucky border. You want 8-lug stuff????? Mine is in really good condition. Let me know If you'd be interested in buying them when they are off. I'll be posting about it. ( I also have a brand new set of tires on brand new Craigar Nomads w/centers, 8-lug)

69SHORTBOX, No shop will put 5 lug on a 3/4 ton truck, in many retrospects, it is illegal. The shop would be held acountable in an accident if the truck was loaded down.
