I bought a new glove box for my 72 Jimmy. The truck has a/c. Does any one know how to get the glove box in? I can't get it to fit. It is like they are supposed to go in from the rear. Any tips will be appreciated.

are you sure they sent you the one for a A/C truck and not a non-a/c?

Did you get one for a a/c truck? I believe the ones for a non a/c truck are different, can some assure this?

The AC boxes are shaped different at the rear but the front is still the same. I think originaly they did install these first, then the heater box. But you can slide it through the glove box opening one side at a time. Notice there are reliefs designed into the corners. Once its in... it ain't comin' out lol. You'll likely rip it to streads trying to take it back out.

The A/C glove box if looking at it from the seat it will have a indention on the left side of it for the air connections. Other than that they are the same.
When you install it it will fold up a little around the conners, but it should be alright after installed. I always install mine starting with the left side first, it just seems to go in easier.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
