What year is this seat from?

How can you distinguish between a 72 and 73 blazer/jimmy front seats? I have a pair of the ones in this photo and want to buy covers for them but not sure what year they came from. What do you think?

Looks 69-72 to me but 73 seats are pretty similar. I think the foams are different but otherwise they are the same frame. I could be wrong though. I’m sure someone knows.

Re: What year is this seat from?

The front brackets on the 73 are an inch longer, but the frame is the same.

Yes my seat is definitely a 73 then because I mounted the drivers seat and used the front bolts but the back holes in the floor are off from the bracket. I was planning just modifying the bracket.

So question, I assume I can buy 72 seat covers for this 73 seat to stay in line with the original look? Also, did the Jimmy come with the scroll pattern on the original vinyl seats or just the Blazer?
