anyone do a S-10 swap using Mongo's directions?

sgtusmc, I see that you used his method. I read your project. It turned out great.

I was wondering if anyone else had done the conversion this way.

On a side note, it's funny that this guy posted this info on the HAMB way back in Jan, 2004 and he's not even a member of HAMB anymore. It's actually a "sticky" over there too. Weird, huh? Wonder what ever happened to this guy? I think his user name was SoWhat

Here's the link for those who aren't familiar.

Re: anyone do a S-10 swap using Mongo's directions?

I used his tech article. It was awesome to have someone else who had already figured out what to do and what not to do. My truck turned out pretty good I believe.
On the side note you mentioned, he is still a member there. His name is Clark and I believe Clark is his new screenname too.

Josh, I've been admiring your truck for a while now. You don't have a project thread or build pictures do you?
I've got a 52 that has patina that looks like a twin (or younger brother) to yours. There's a pic of it in the link in my signature (Hub Garage)

Just saw your build thread in another thread. thanks
here's mine....

Re: anyone do a S-10 swap using Mongo's directions?

I know that you've seen my build, and I guess that that's what I used. I didn't know that it was mongos. I thought that clark did it. I don't think that I've seen mongos original page or post.

just looked at it. did he ever post pix of how he mounted his bed?

MOngo and Clark not the same people. Mongo is in Kansas City and I think clark is in Southern Missouri somewhere. Mongos truck is still in process though. He has not posted a build to my knowledge, at this time at least. You guys have some awesome AD trucks out there.

Clark was SoWhat. Now just plain old Clark on the HAMB.
Hes in PA. Abbottstown or something similar.

Mongo is different person as mentioned above. Clark and the SoWhat guys have a herd of AD trucks on S10 chassis'. They been doing them for years.
