We did start talking about Chevrolet pickups, though.
Told him I had a 68 Golden Anniversary pickup. He asked what seat it had. I told him mine was a 1/2 ton, Custom model, with a bench seat. He said I had a pretty cool ride (it WILL BE). He mentioned about the buddy buckets. I told him I liked the way my bench seat rides.

He was most likely referring to the buddy buckets as a “split bench”. Semantics, I’ve heard others call them split bench as well.
