69 only interior question (I think its an only)

So I have a 69 parts truck and it has that kind of dark red interior color, burgundy? Most of the interior is shot so not usable.

I recently picked up a near pristine dash pad of that color and I got to thinking it might look pretty nice in my black panel. Does anyone know if this color interior is reproduced by anyone? I would need everything except the dash pad.

I was also thinking of that crazy bright red interior of which I have almost everything already, and I know I can get the stuff I still need in reproduction.

So if the burgundy stuff is unavailable I have a fall back, plus I can also fall back on black which everyone and their pet dog has haha!

Re: 69 only interior question (I think its an only)

Nice find! The maroon is 69 only. Dark red/burgundy. My 69 gmc has this interior. This color is not currently reproduced. I think some pieces like the dash pad may have been reproduced at some time. It is difficult and time consuming to find all the pieces. I'm missing the rear view mirror cover and a good dash pad . The bright red is available. Bruce

I have that darker red interior color in that low mile '69 K/20 I bought. Classic Industries shows 1969 door panels, arm rest, and seat covers in red or bright red. They might be pretty close to the right color.

Here are some some pics of the 1969 dark maroon interior on a CST truck. I know, I know, but I have to say it I should have kept this one.

This is my favorite interior color. That black truck is sweet. It would be sweeter as a K20 but thats just my flavor.

Re: 69 only interior question (I think its an only)

I bought seat upholstery from PUI and door panels from Classic Parts of America.
Seems like the original color is a little darker or darkens with age.
The weird thing is, most of the interior colors never matched the other parts of the interior that were made of different materials.

Re: 69 only interior question (I think its an only)

I looked at PUI today but they don't sell to the public and when I punched the info in it didn't have a pic. Its a color that does look good with black for sure.
