For future knowledge, this would fit a Blazer, right?

That is correct - The pickup fleetside tailgate will fit a Blazer. There is a small metal strip at the top of the Blazer tailgate that screws on that will need to transfered over to the new gate. Very easy to do.

Hey, That is sweet...I need one of those! I guess I will hold off bidding since there is so much local competition on that one! It will be fun to see where it ends up!

HA! Yeah right. Nice try, buddy.

I tell you what. Take the TH400 to a shop, have it rebuilt for performance including a Trans-go Shift kit and that TCI 2500 Converter I've been wanting and I will trade you. lol

Seriously, after 6 days I'd expect the bid to get over at least $400 if it's worth it. We'll see!

This is going to be fun! ...a game of poker. If COBALT is raising the bid to $400.00 then I might have to fold early.

LOL Sorry. High stakes poker. I've got an amount I'm willing to pay in mind. The reserve hasn't been met anyway. I wonder if it's > $300?

ASK SOME QUESTIONS

This TG is going to cost $$$$$$, so if your interested, you might want to ask the seller some questions: What year is it off of? If it is 71-2, where is the DB sticker? Is the paint dull, like it looks in the picture? Shouldn't it be "gloss" black?...and then just the old safe questions to cover all bases: Are there any dents? damage? problems of any kind? If it is one week old, then it is "perfect"---correct? Good luck, guys & maybe gals, too.

Black was mentioned a few posts up.. To me, it looks to be Green and white. If I thought $350 would buy it, i would bid. My guess it will hit $500 on the last day.. Ill be watching but it will most likely be too rich for my blood.. Wish I had bought a ton of these back in 72!

It looks green to me too. It also looks like it's dented in the middle on the inside. " This is an original tailgate that is absolutely flawless, perfect in every way. " I'm sure it's about as close to perfect as your ever going to get but in my opinion alot of people use those descriptions to losely.

I thought it looked scratched, and painted on the inside too, which means to me that it isn't flawless. I've seen "flawless" gates in Independance MO, and they weren't scratched! The price is already high enough for a "nice" original gate IMO.
