Re: Any burbs on turbines?

I recently saw a 67-72 truck (or burb) pic on the forum with these wheels - and recall liking the look. I had these on a '73 vette - I'm a fan. I think they would look good.

Re: Any burbs on turbines?

Had them on my '69. Wish I could get a set in 8 lug that were 12" wide. I'd put them on in a second!

Re: Any burbs on turbines?

I'd love a set as well, but most 8-lug versions I've ever found were 16.5's, and I really want to get away from that size.

Re: Any burbs on turbines?

Yep, that's what I had on my '69. Forgot about the 16.5 thing. Didn't care for that at teh time either......My problem now is the width. Never found an 8 lug 15x12 aluminum rim of any style.

Re: Any burbs on turbines?

I think it could have been from my post, the way I worded it made it sound like you were looking to buy a set. That was my mistake.

Re: Any burbs on turbines?

Throwing rocks at the admin, just because they remind everyone of the rules in a thread that has the potential to turn into a WTB is not really a good idea.

Check out "Stanton77" Suburban on turbines.

Re: Any burbs on turbines?

Dear six8burban ,

Instead of using a Private Message to quiz why the warning about was placed in the thread you replied in open forum . So shall I .

What most cannot see is the " wanted to buy " that was edited out of your 1st post . Your are a site supporter so you know there is a Classified forum and all Classified ads are to be posted there . Any Classifieds (such as , What Its Worth, Want To Buy, Want To Trade, and For Sale ) will be removed or edited in the discussion forums .

This is not a new policy by any means so your comments seem somewhat over the top . Maybe you were having a bad day .

Let Me also add , Your kind of reply is disrespectful to the staff and is usually followed by infractions or days off of the site .

If you have any further comment or questions Please feel free to PM any of the Admins .

Thank You
