Got some goodies today

A dana 60 I sold a couple months ago has come back home. Going to put it under the front of my 70. I have the rear 14 bolt too, it has the G80 in it, not too happy about that. Not sure if I will use it, my current rear dana 60 has the power lock but the smaller 1/2" studs, the front 60 has 9/16" studs.

Nice to get back what you probably didn't want to sell in the first place.

They could also come with a Detroit Locker. The 14 bolt G80 is not as weak as the smaller 10 bolts, but they do have a bunch of little parts.

Re: Got some goodies today

Maybe keep the 60 for now and try to trade the corp14 for one with an open diff, or eaton locker if possible. But with open diff at least you would get the carrier. Someone might want the gov as opposed to open.

But anyhow, glad you got your front 60 back!

yep, and if not shop for a an open carrier then drop what ever traction devise in you would like. I got an open carrier for my ff14b for $25. I think that was a lucky low price but even $50 is worth it.

If you are wanting an auto locker when I shopped a few years back the Yukon Grizzly locker was cheaper than the Detroit by a bit and a side by side view and exploded diagram showed the two to be identical. I am not sure where pricing lie these days tho.
