inside hood release

has anyone or does anyone know of a kit for a inside hood release for a 1969 c-10. If not has anyone tried to fabricate one?

Several members have fabricated their own, several ways to do it - if you do a search on here you will see several options. Some don't like the plastic LMC lever (myself included, but I may still buy one of these and tinker with it).

You can use the search tab at the top of the page to find members that have done this. One used a square body inside latch that looked real good and didnt stick out like a afterthought.

Are you looking for just the inside release, or a hood lock?

I think the hood lock would be preferred. Even if someone broke into the cab, they still would not be able to open the hood, or start the truck.
