I don't think my wife would let me put her in something like that. She dosen't like lowered trucks, but i don't care. she dosen't have to drive them. I like it. Looks good

Re: 99+ post your ride

Hello to all from Nashville, Tennessee. I've had my truck for a few months now and came across this site thanks to a great friend. Thought that I would post up some pics of it when I bought it. Since I have changed out the wheels to something different and I haven't taken any pictures of it since. The wheels that were on it were just not my style. I loved the size and the stance that it gave, but just too flashy for me.

Re: 99+ post your ride

Here is my recently acquired 1999 Tahoe 4x2 with the Z56 Police Package. We went to Concord California ( near San Francisco ) and drove her home 1800 miles. It only has 80,300 miles on it now but had 78,400 when we picked it up. What I really love about it is that it has all the creature comforts
( including rear A/C ) as well as the 255Hp 5.7 litre V8 and that fabulous Z56 suspension. I drove her home and promptly tucked her away till next spring when the snow and salt are gone. She's a keeper !!!!!

Great looking truck! Did it come with the chrome handles or did you add those on after your purchased it? I've been looking at ordering a set of GM chrome handles, but just haven't brought myself to spend that kind of money.

We definitely need more pics of your truck!

Could you get a few upclose shots of the Putco stick on handle covers? I'm trying to decide if it's worth the $130 for the GM chrome handles or just buy the stick on ones. I wasn't sure if the entire handle was covered or just the part facing out.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

By the way... the truck is killer!

Re: 99+ post your ride

Here is my cream puff 2001 HD with an 8.1L and somewhat rare 6 speed manual. Bought it brand new in September 2001. She was my daily driver up until 2006 when the wife got a new car and I inherited her 2004 Tahoe Z71 so it pretty much sits in the garage collecting dust these days unless something heavy needs to be pulled. It is all original except for the cranked torsion bars, 285 tires and Westin nerf bars with right at 50,000 miles on the clock. The airbag sticker is still even hanging out of the glovebox.

I don’t plan on doing anything like lifting it or ever selling it as it is pretty much one of the last GM trucks that is worth owning and I am the original owner....plus it is paid for

no problem...Ill have to clean her up first, but ill post pics. They come with inside part behind the handle too. Let me know, I can get anything you want fairly cheap, so unless you have the hook up, you do now Thanx again!

Thanks for the offer I will see if I can come up with a set cheap locally and if not I will definitely keep you in mind. The part in bold is was I was worried about, I didn't want to have a chrome handle with a black insert behind it...

Can't wait to see the pics!
