Post Off topic: best way to lower a '93 Silverado?

Drop spindles or dropped lower control arms?
Pro's and con's of both?
Thanks for the input.

make that call Off Road Wharehouse and ask them how much for a lowering kit, then ask what comes with it, you can prob. get the parts cheeper if you shop aroung, but there kits are always fairly complete and good..

and yes the do to sell lowering kits....

or got to www.summitracing.com and see what kits they have...

Red face

sell it and get you a 1967-1972 Chevy/Gmc, there are kits out the waaazooo for them. LOL
Just a biased suggestion not to be taken seriously.

Seen a few of the trucks running the airbag setups...just another option on lowering.

Lower the tire pressure in all 4 tires about 20psi. That should lower it a good inch or two.

Thumbs up

Go 2" spindles 3" speings front. Rear go flip and small notch it comes with the flip kit. This gives you a 5-7 drop and looks wicked mean. Did my buddys truck that way. You don't have to notch if you like riding on the bump stops. Shackle/hanger kit only gets you 4" and will ride the bump stops if you have more than 200# in the bed

Spindles are the best way to start for any front drop. Then springs after that. Airbags are great for a huge drop, but should start with spindles even for that
