Do you guys think that 2" lowering springs would lower my Sub the full 2"(she seems to sit high, wondering if the stock springs have sagged any)? Opinions? Thanks, Doc

That truck does seem to sit fairly high, but I would find it hard to beleive that if those are original springs, they haven't sagged. Why not just throw in a set of drop spindles (unless you are tryiong to go the budget way) and then you are guarenteed to get a 2" drop.

I'm in the middle of the disc brake swap (spindles, a-arms, steering, etc.) and have everything prepped for paint except the springs. I had the 31" tires in the pic mounted on my new 15x8 5-lug rallys, but a buddy of mine traded his new 275/60/15 tires and mounting for my 3 year old 31's (he got a lift kit for his truck), so now I'd like to lower the Sub to compliment the tires, springs are half what the spindles are ($100 vs $219). Damn, I'm rambling, sorry. Thanks for the reply!

I agree with Z16,a set of spindles would take all the guess work out of the mix.....then if its not low enough,you could always go for a shorter spring.-----------------------HotrodHorn

I should be back in my '69 C-10 SWB, this weekend...with a set of 2.5inch drop spindles on the front and a set of 4-inch drop springs on the rear. If this ain't enough on the front, I'll go for the 1-inch drop springs, although I put in new stock height springs on the front, with the new spindles and disc conversion (all from Early Classic Enterprises).
