tooooooooooo loud!

ok ok, im 19, i like loud exhausts, so yesterday i didnt think my flow's after 3 years were loud enough for my likings after hearing the guy next door's 56' bel air fire up. i wanted mine to be just as loud.................so i completely cut my mufflers off with a hacksaw. no big deal really, the exhaust is the same one my grandpa put on the thing 20 or so years ago i just had the flow's put on. so now it sounds like a wild banshee on crack.. and its kinda obnoxious and i like screams and doesnt sound wonderful....but it sure is loud... anyone know how i could quiet it down and get rid of the "screaming" i get while accelerating...im thinkin of puttin the flow's back on really soon if i can't decide on anything else. always something to do it keeps my happy.

bigjimzll is right, headers will make the truck sound twice as good. I bolted a pair on my mostly stock 350, and through the same exhaust system i used to have (12" glasspacks and 3" chrome tips), it sounded about 50% louder, alot deeper, and overall more just more of a performance sound.
