Killer

Well guys, Im sick
Im starting ANOTHER ONE !!!

I'm combining a few of my projects into one
Taking my old trucks Kilroy & Sinister, the engine out of Slick 77, and the frame from Sano

I picked up a NV-3500 & Caddi rear disc brakes for it also

My dad & I started by swapping the front suspension from Sinister into the frame (already bagged & rebuilt)
Then today we swapped in the rear axle in

Sanos frame when I got it

Cleaned, painted & engine installed for Sano

Swapping the front end

Re: Killer

Front almost done

Swapping the rear

Rear in

And this is the kind of impact we like to use for U-bolts

Re: Killer

This is the engine that I will be running, it came out of my 77 that I wrecked

350 with vortec heads, edelbrock RPM intake, Comp 268 cam, Flame Thrower ignition, and some other goodies

And these are the 5-speeds I picked up

This is the cab & front end I will be using

And this is the bed

More progress soon

Re: Killer

Maybe you should call it "Cannibal". It seems to be eating up several of it's family members.

Do me a favor Dad, and make him finish this one!

I sure wish I was closer to you. I would love to have the running gear from Kilroy!

Re: Killer

Well for just a few days home, I think we made pretty good progress.

Now comes the time consuming part. The ever menacing decision times.
What to fix, what to replace, what to modify and what to let go and get on to driving.

Hope you keep on going. Try to get it right, but keep motivated.
Dad

67 c-30, He's hard to keep motivated and pointed in one direction. I need all of ya'lls help on getting him to finish it before he starts another one.

We'll try! The truck ya'll are building now looks to have the most potential of any of the 1263 prior builds. Being able to handpick good sheet metal and putting on a nice reconditioned shorty frame will actually give that truck really decent value if its put all together.

Here's some inspiration!
