Power window conversion
Wondering if any of the late model power window drives can be used to convert older(1969 in this case) doors to power windowsor is it just a lot easier to buy a kit.Cost is more of issue than amount of work is.Not lazy and unfortunately not rich.LOL
I have few vehicles sitting around I can rob parts off of.95 Astro van,97 3/4 ton silverado and few others that friends have sitting around.

By far, this is the cheapest method
That's the easy part. Decisions on wiring, relays, switches and door jam looms takes more time and thought.

If your going to reuse old motors check the brushes before installing. My experience is that is what wears out and causes the motor to quit working. The ones on my 91 S-10 are pretty easy to replace and I made my own brushes out of some old alternator brushes.
