is this custom?

is that panel under the grille custom or is it something i can buy from somewhere or do i need to make it.

usually made from two grille bars- one right side up on top and one turned upside down on the bottom. some massaging and vuoala.

thats what i was thinking, looks easy to do. i have a spare grille laying around, maybe i will take the bars from it and take a shot at it.

thanks, just in case it turns into a disaster, does any company make them.

I've never seen one... but never really looked for one either. Everyone i've ever seen, (on many mid 40's street rods) looked to be a one off piece. Maybe pick up a classic trucks mag and look at the ads.

I saw atleast 3 trucks at the GoodGuys show in Fort Worth that had those. I wonder if they consider that a front roll pan?Depending on the setup I like the bumper better IMO

I seen them alot latley i think I like the bumpper better I would just pull the bumper in closer to the body.
