80s Mirrors on a 70?

Has anybody here put the mirrors from a square body chevy onto a 67-72? I don't think that the curve of the door is all that different and i like the look of the newer ones better. I put a pic of the ones I was thinking about. Thanks for any inputs.

I had them on my 71 at one time. I took them off the mounts in your picture and put them on my 71 factory mounts. Used a bolt with lock washer. These are old polariod pictures I took digital pictures of so they are not the best looking.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I just use the right ones. There were several choices. They all look right and serve their purpose and the more stylish ones are readily available. These don't fit right anyway.
