This is the truck I should have started with (it would have saved me a lot of money). I will probably bag it and put my Intros on it from my 72 project. Some pics!

Do the 72 and leave the 67 alone. If for no other reason the 72 has disc brakes will make for a better daily driver than the 67. That 67 is to nice of a truck to cutup. You can enter both trucks at the show and see which one get's more votes.

I wasn't gonna say anything till I read everyone else's post's ,
that 67 is an awesome looking truck just like it is , it would be ashamed to customize it with all the lowering stuff , that stuff is fine on truck's that had no life anyway but that 67 is one cool dude !!!!
I like the color , the interior , the six lug rally wheel's , the way it sit's , it is just right and will turn head's and get the thumb's up wherever it go's !!!

i say drive the 67 as is for motavation to finish your 72if you turn this into your project your 72 may never get finished

So,that`s why you sold the Sierra Grande!I agree on how nice it is as is.But,I understand how you can get exactly what you want out of this truck by just adding/changing what you want.You may not want to or have a place to own the extra vehicle.I understand that you may need to sell the project to finance the`67.
A couple months ago I ran into a guy in a`68 CST that was otherwise just like yours,with simular rims that you are using.That was the nicest truck I`ve seen running around in years.He had the buckets covered with what looked like the CustomDeluxe cloth.Man,that was a nice truck!...like yours.

well after seeing all the other posts i decided i needed to chime in, yes the 67 looks great but its your truck so it will look best how ever you see fit to make it raised, lowered, chop the top, do whatever makes you happy!

I gotta agree...number one...that look on the 72 doesn't fit these trucks at all. It looks way too ghetto for me. About the biggest drop that looks really good on these trucks is a 2/4.

Big wheels don't do anything for me on any older vehicle except remind me of our local gang bangers and rap wannabes. Boggles my mind why anyone would want to emulate them.

Being old school I love the way the 67looks now, please dont' ruin it!

Make that a stepside and that's what my truck looked like brand new. White with the blue vinyl interior. Very nice score.

it would be a shame to butcher that 67, it looks great like it is. BUT, it's your truck and you can do as you wish. it looks like a really nice ride and you can enjoy it RIGHT NOW.

I wasn't going to cut it up (just a simple air ride set-up) front disc & 5 lug swap. It seems the more I do to the 72 the more I liked the original look of the 67-68 CSTs (Trim and all! It took me a over a year and two owners to buy this truck. It has big window, posi, AC, Power steering???, 350 V8, 400 trans.

That's funny, I don't think my 55 looks "ghetto" bagged on some nice wheels. If everyone was into the same stuff it would kind of suck don't you think!!

13" diameter wheels w/those super small white-walls or >22" diameter wheels w/tire sidewalls that are way too thin..... that takes away from the classic looks. A well chosen wheel/tire combo that's a larger diameter can look great; the key is they need to be 'well chosen'.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
