07 driving lights

My 2007 Silverado classic does not have driving lights.. I would like to add factory lights if possible. Is the wiring harness already there? best bet to find a wreck?

Re: 07 driving lights

What are you referring to as "driving lights"? Roof mounted clearance lights?

If you have a 2007 Silverado Classic, your thread belongs in the other section, the GMT-800 section, 1999-2007. This is technically 2007.5+.

Re: 07 driving lights

I disagree, I would say that may be the right section. I am guessing that he is referring to the fog lights, that arein the front bumper. However many people drive with them on all of the time, so they may not know if they are driving lights or fog lights.

Re: 07 driving lights

Bumper mounted Fog Lights, if your truck did not have them it can be a crap-shoot as to how easy it is to add them. Some trucks have the complete wiring harness with the pigtails in place, they're just taped up. Start behind bumper where the lights will mount, go up from there, find the harness, see if there is a plug taped up out of the way, probably around the area right over the frame on either side. If it is not there the easiest thing to do is to pop the fuse/relay center up, find the fog circuit, that is your power source, run it down to the fog light locations, ground the lights to the core support, and add the dash switch. Thankfully, all of the dash-to-relay center wiring is in place, all you need to do is get the power to the lights and ground them. More expensive option: GM had an accessory kit, part number: 17802547
