"ready for MII or Camaro clip", aren't they all or was that a rare factory option. No title could be an issue.

" It has the original rear differential that is 5x4.75 lug pattern." Didn't these all come with 6 bolt wheels?.

Re: Cl 57 tx $1200

How would that work for an out of state buyer?

I know Florida is a title state. Minimum is title in hand OR Bill of Sale AND previous owners registration form.

Now GA could care less. Bill of Sale and you're OK. Matter of fact they don't even issue titles for older than like 1985 I think. Check your states DMV web site for Out of State title transfers. It should all be there.

All bets are off if it will just be a parts truck. Bill of Sale while you are hauling it just to be safe. Then if they pull you over to check it, better hope it's not on a hot list!

I got really frustrated finding a CHEAP truck in Florida because none of them seemed to have titles AND they weren't registered by the current owner. Can you say "parts truck".

Georgia will title any vehicle newer than 62 model but they are pretty lax on titles for anything that's twenty or twenty five years old. It seems to be up to you at that point whether or not you want to pay the title transfer fee. I personally won't buy a vehicle without one, if it's a 63 or newer.

Sorry. I think we hijacked your thread.

Yeah, I found a nice patina 56 Ford flat bed dually in GA, but no title and never registered under his name. I really wanted it, but couldn't register it in Fla. My Father In-law lives there during the week for work, but his permanent address is Fla, or I would have had him do all the GA paperwork and then "sell" it to me.

Anybody know of a title company that doesn't charge $895.00 to title one in another state like Alabama or whatever?

Hey One Ton,

What is a bonded title exactly? Same as what one of the title companies does?

Thanks,

Larry W.
