Re: purgatorio

staggering tube work, really nice. I think you will wish for some kickup on the rear the first time you lift the front before the rear , but really clean stuff!

the entire frame sits 3/4" off the ground and the rear is indeed kicked up behind the axle. This isn't kyles first rodeo son.

Ive offended you, or kyle, and that wasnt my intent.

but the good news is that, since I am your son, the truck passes to me when you pass. I have passed your comment to my monkey attorney and he assures me its legally binding.

Ive seen kyles other rodeos. I know he can do some nice work. I wondered what happened to him after the tornado.

Hey thanks. The body just go out of the sand blaster. Cost me 900 bucks. No surprises though, there was no floor boards or cab corners.

I don't believe in overkill, this will be my weekend grocery getter. I was lucky enough to get in touch with Kyle dimetroff at guilty by design fabrication through this forum. He is the one doing the build. He is a miny truck guy but he had a good eye for stance. Stance is everything I think. This is his second tube chassis he has ever built. I was looking for strength and killer stance: so far I think he's nailed it. He will be joining another shop come this summer.

Great idea for the "Rolling Chassis" using wood.... alot cheaper than takeoffs protects the brakes and paint doesnt hurt them!!!

Re: purgatorio

Frame looks light but strong. How far off the ground will it be for normal driving, or in other words how much distance do you expect between rear of front fender and ground?

The frame sits 3'4" from ground now. We have Accuair and bags. Approx 5 inches give or take...
