All the colors will really come out when they are refinished.

Man that is a really rough go, sorry you are having to go through it all. As so many before have said: So glad everyone is ok. Having your home be salvagable is another big plus as well, sure is a beautiful home.

Re: Pics from our fire - REPLACE YOUR CHEAP SURGE PROTECTOR!
Home at last!!! They finally got through with house last week and got all the inspections completed. We got the bulk of funiture, and all of the appliances. Our antiques that went in the formal living room and dining room are being refinished and reupholstered, but we have the essentials and are home. All in all they did a great job on the house. The floors are absolutely beautiful. It is so good to be home. I actually got out there today and cranked my '67 C-30 and my ramp truck and the let them run for awhile, so things are returning to normal!

Re: Pics from our fire - REPLACE YOUR CHEAP SURGE PROTECTOR!
Thanks guys!
No truer words have ever been spoken. For 6 mos when we in that apartment I just didn't feel right. I never felt relaxed, I was tired, and had actually starting thinking something was actually wrong with me. My wife an I even talked about it a few weeks ago, and she told me to go to the doctor (which of course, I didn't). Since we have been home I have felt so good. I've been almost giddy. The mundane chores that I always dreaded are nothing now. I'm glad to able to do them. I don't think anyone can truly appreciate how great your home is until you can't go home.
